Macbook gets 190 Degrees hot When Closed

i've had macbook 30 months, it's 2009 macbook 13 in' silver , since software update 10.6.7 , after updating lion, i've had problems when mac closed, apple light on of screen flash intermittently once every 20 seconds. reason won't go sleep mode , eats battery no other. on top of that, every time open after hour of being closed, check istat pro , see 190 degrees f while fan running @ 2000 rpm. after keep on minute cools down , fan kicks in open it gets hot touch! mean on point of burning fingers hot! ideas here? i've tried pulling battery , it's still @ 95% health software issue?

sounds have kind of process running away cpu - print job never printed or something.....

open activity monitor cpu tab , change drop-down processes. check causing cpu heat up. might need click on "%cpu" column sort them descending order.

post says , sure help....
