Refurbished iMac with Magic Trackpad?

we (the wife , i) planning purchase imac think time replace g4 ibook. plan buy refurbished model since seems far best price , research indicates apple's refurbished products can trusted.

main question regarding apple magic mouse vs. magic trackpad. if buy non-refurbished model through apple store can pick 1 or other. however, refurbished listings i've looked @ ever list apple magic mouse. has ever seen refurbished model included magic trackpad? buying magic trackpad separately refurbished price still beats i've seen, i'd rather not spend $69 if didn't have to.

while that's main question, if has advice or can make sure i'm pointed in right direction, here situation.

i'm upgrading g4 ibook running os x 10.4. had laptop college, don't need portability , plan go imac. our current computer, plan keep new imac long possible. price isn't issue, still rather not spend more need to.

not intensive on computer (although part of our current ibook hasn't liked intensive quite awhile now). imac used word processing, web browsing, itunes, watching online video, maybe light photo/graphics editing (i don't know enough ambitious). might try out games well.

while presume fine getting 1 of previous generation imacs, , saving more money, want current sandy bridge chipset better future proof it. sandy bridge seems bit of jump , having helpful if apple uses cutoff point support future version of os x.

i'm more unsure of whether upgrading within sandy bridge chipset buy in terms of longevity of computer. want avoid long possible situation current ibook still "works", lot slower used , has lot of trouble playing youtube videos.

main thought entry level 21.5" 2.5ghz i5. seems hard go wrong with, , seems compare lot more favorably other current imac models when compared entry level model of previous generations. , 21.5" screen huge step our current 12".

far 21.5" models go, i'm not concerned graphics since 6770 doesn't seem of step 6750. intrigue me though upgrade i7 chip. isn't necessary doing computer, tempting , seems quite boost. don't know whether future proof me though or if talking myself seems cool, don't need.

27" model tempting, , i'm facing similar dilemma if go route. if decide go 27" i'm think might want opt better graphics and/or processor. while i'm not worried 21.5" model, size , additional resolution of 27" model, want make sure can handle down road, under future iterations of os x. thus, if decide want 27", i'm heavily tempted go 6970 , 3.4ghz i7. don't know upping graphics 1gb of ram 2gb though, may overkill, long run (perhaps whole thing overkill though).

whatever do, i'll max out ram. prices i've seen @ places mentioned on forum inexpensive not go ahead , it.

other main option, ssd, unless wants try , talk me it, i'm leaning heavily against it. price pretty big jump , considering planned usage of computer, don't think we'd benefit out of it.

thoughts you've had. i've learned quite bit lurking on forum!
