ATV2, Sony HDTV and Sony DAV DZ-630 Home Theater - HOW TO GET AUDIO THROUGH?

guys, i've bought new sony hdtv (on sale, price) after realizing older model getting little bit long in tooth (only 1 hdmi port, no optical audio etc.). seemingly ironic reason because i'd bought atv2, has no analog/component ports anymore.

however. still struggling how audio out home theater system , speakers. atv2 sound plays fine in tv speakers, that's not want.

main points consider:

- dz-630 home theater not have optical ports, 1 hdmi out port, have component , analog audio in ports (line);
- tv has analog audio out, optical audio out, scart, component, audio mini-jack , 4x hdmi.

have connected atv2 via hdmi tv, while home theater linked tv through scart (for cable) , component (for dvd). however, not let atv2 sound go through speakers.

tried using rca audio out tv home theater's audio in (line), no avail. in other words, seems hdmi-connected atv2 not send audio through tv's audio out line connectors in home theater.

having spent money on set-up, not want buy d-a converter box gefen. presume optical audio between tv , atv2 won't help.

missing configuration-wise? can assist me this? thanks!

 

what other devices connecting tv??? bluray, ps3 xbox? i'll assuming want audio through speakers well??? how many hdmi inputs receiver have???
