iMovie 11 not finding Aperture 3.1 Videos on Mac OS X Lion

i went out , purchased new macbook air yesterday , migrated old air via time machine method.

in middle of editing whole bunch of video shot in europe few weeks ago... of videos stored in aperture 3.1 albums.

when open imovie 11' shows projects... shows of source video missing.

also, when first start imovie... says loading clips doesn't load anything.

don't think problem imovie loading aperture videos... fails show other videos laying around in other various parts of computer.

have similar issues?
 

imovie stuck after upgrading lion , imovie 11

when open "new" application, stuck on "generating thumbnails." essentially, "locked up" , have forcequit. have installed imovie 11 twice.

after upgrade lion , imovie11. aperture source of things photo videos.
