Where is the thunder?

i purchased macbook air , love computer. did search today external hard drives take advantage of thunderbolt connector. found drive lacie supposed ship "summer".

going on of thunderbolt peripherals? seems technology winner yet there lack of devices support though has been available since february. hope adopted fact has taken products long market has me wondering.
