X-Men First Class- Love It Or Not? (SPOILERS)

based on box office assume poll come off positive x-men, movie did not me. recognize opinions vary, possibly drastically , no 1 right other majority opinion. therefore know i'll lose, no matter, feelings correct ones. kidding degree.

knowledge of original stories colors views somewhat, intent keep focus of discussion on merits of these movies entertainment, not condemnation of how far deviate original comics. if criteria, i'd have trash of them.

after disappointment of x-men last stand , how short changed dark phoenix saga, muttering, still bought dvd, ultimate expression of movie meets approval. , joy of watching wolverine origins movie! every single character in movie alive , full of character. fantastic, thought x-men back! movie arrives having miscast several characters, come off flat, , director can't pull off story tries place x-men in middle of cuban missile crisis. sad.

xavier- miscast.
mystique- compared original portrayal rebecca romijn, character such disappointment , mentioned in passing of being xavier's sister? (i may not have caught correctly).
hank mccoy (beast)- compared original portrayal kelsey grammer, no comparison , young beast looked big fuzzy kitty personality not beast know comics.
sebastian shaw- don't know, kevin bacon did not carry character.
emma frost- 2 dimensional.
magneto- of characters magneto pretty good.

how can go loving every mutant in 3 x-men movies (x-men 1,2, , wolverine origins) , loath every character in xmfc except 1 min cameo wolverine? every single character in movies, light screen. in comparison, 5th movie in series, week old cola. don't try compare these xmfc characters sabertooth, gambit, or dead pool. breathed more life characters in 1 min, young x-men manage in entire movie. (this not prejudice against young talent)

has said director's vision, brian singer first 2 , gavin hood wolverine movie. in comparison, matthew vaughn, director of kick ass, dropped ball badly, please keep him away future x-men installments!

retcon gone bad. nothing worst poorly done retroactive continuity. should have @ least kept original students: scott summer (cyclops), warren worthington (angel, archangel), bobby drake (iceman), jean grey (marvel girl) , henry mccoy (beast, 1 outta 5).

have @ least kept old school fans complaining hard.
