"When fully charged...." question.

hey,

feel bad charging ipad overnight.

if ipad charged....does ignore power plug or effect battery. don't want wear out battery keepin plugged in while charged.

also...would waste lot of electrical energy leaving plug on night? or power output wall socket stop using power when senses ipad needs no more power.

guess i'm kind of afraid plug keeps giving ipad power though battery full meaning it'll kill battery :)

i think once battery charged, power plug stop charging , keep attached device powered without using battery.

i'm no battery expert.

5.1 audio out with hdmi? MBP 15inch 2011

i've gone through 2 adapters , endless hours of trying 5.1 audio receiver via hdmi or optical , can't seem work. well, let me correct myself. got work in osx whenever start vlc audio goes 7.1 random configuration comes out of side speaker. can't seem dts or ac3 consistently output vlc receiver. if have use optical don't care want work. got normal audio not dts or ac3 work osx. using bootcamp , windows 7 got vlc output ac3 via optical receiver. never got hdmi sound output in other 2 channel in windows. anyway if can spread light on how accomplish appreciated @ moment using http://www.kanexlive.com/v2 claim pass uncompressed 5.1/7.1 dts , ac3 through. entire thing frustrating. technical support laughable.   bump   Forums Macs Notebooks ...
