MDP to HDMI no audio!

i have 32" insignia tv (from 3-4 years ago) , 2011 mbp have bought. purchased mdp hdmi (with audio support) connect computer television.

cable bought:

able configure television hdmi. however, video streams through television. right using mirror mode display computer on external screen. have gone sound settings , changed output hdmi, no avail. says "the selected device has no output controls."

have advice me? i'd work :/
 

anybody? still can't find solution :/

What's the max amount of RAM an iMac can have to run BootCamp & Parallels Windows 7?
