Software update not working in 10.7

i using macbook 2008 model, intel core 2 duo, 2.4 ghz. installed macosx 10.7, sore ware update not working. having same problem. , knows how resolve or component need install

Mail will not Quit when shutting down

What's the max amount of RAM an iMac can have to run BootCamp & Parallels Windows 7?
