Upgrading every year?

is there sells there old 1 , gets new 1 every year???

thinking doing on 2 year schedule, wondering how many people , how it, or why it.
 

ive thought trying this, , works best if can live without computer few weeks year can sell yours while still "current" model, before refresh.

problem lose fair bit of money. quite similar cars really, economical solution buy new 1 , use until last day of life, buy new one.

if student however, pretty decent discount on laptop , apple care resale value can come close total price paid.
