Apple Customer Service Sucks Arse

i bought new imac few weeks , has been fine. then, got email today stating imac may have faulty hard drive , needs replaced asap. ok, call apple see have do. basically, after talking numerous people , getting angry last person spoke hung on me.

here why angered. told me unless buy applecare (2 extended years of warranty) don't qualify on site service means send home repair unit on site. sounds pretty odd seeing have 1 year warranty on computer , haven't had 1 month. asked speak supervisor, , agreed pay on site service stated wasn't sure repair facilities drive home seeing hour away, 1 way.

nearest apple store 1 hour drive each way if ever need repair computer have drive minimum of 2 hours , sit there while repair it. ridiculous.

won't let me send in them repair state laptops. wanted send in repair.

needless say. never buy imac again.

 

your imac comes 90 day phone support , 1 year warranty. different, looks out of phone support. way extend phone support purchasing applecare, didn't didn't try screw out of money.

in fact, i'm not sure if in home servicing. either want ship computer them or have take store.

think should have read bit more on apple's terms before bought mac. i'm not saying isn't apple's fault, didn't purposely send (and many others) faulty imac.

following guidelines.

think should call without being frustrated (they more helpful when aren't frustrated) , ask them exchange imacs in mail or something.

i'm not saying don't have right frustrated - i'm saying apple doing best can because told in policy. think got lucky him offering guy come house.

luck getting computer fixed; understand frustration.
