Parallels settings

hi, have windows 7 installation use solely games (mostly fps), , wondering optimal parallels virtual machine settings virtualize bootcamp partition times when want little gaming cant reboot (specs in sig). have 4 gigs of free ram, should assign 4gb, or might somehow see performance boost in windows assigning less ram. should give 1, 2, 3, or of "cpus"? tips appreciated

you're not going able game in parallels. stick bootcamp. use parallels little things don't require computing power (business programs, dvd shrink, etc.), gaming use bootcamp. i'm on 2010 27" i7 imac , don't/can't game (modern games anyway) using parallels.

besides, starting w7 in bootcamp takes same amount of time starting w7 in parallels...

fwiw though, give parallels 6 (or 8 - can't remember) gb of ram (out of 12 total), , 4 cpus.
