Blowing Compressed Air Into The 30 Pin Connector

well, know lot of people have problems home buttons after time. kind of dawned on me happens time, got me thinking.

has ever tried blowing compressed air 30 pin connector underneath home button? might work. risks involved when doing
 

i feel home button not working factory defect, , button may either worn out or "ribbon" it's connected becomes faulty. fail see how blowing dust out of 30-pin port fix this, may nice cleaning/maitenance.
