Metric Units different from SL

hi everyone,

i've been testing out gm lion , realized when change region mexico under system preferences --> language & text --> formats
-->currency (mexican peso) , measurement units metric uses mm instead of cm.

there way change cm? (in sl displays them in cm)

found out because in word 2011 when try create custom paper size it's showing them in mm instead of cm.

suggestions

custom paper size 21.5cm x 33.5cm

thank !!!
 

well, first thing enter 215mm x 335mm.
have no idea how modify back, have overlooked something.
maybe thought using millimetre more si compliant?
