Brightness problem

okay, think started happening after updating 10.6.8. whenever take break laptop, put brightness 0 , leave laptop 'sleep' without putting cover down. however, brightness turns automatically , have press 'lower brightness' make 0 again. why happen? , know how fix? wasting battery.
 

you may have brightness set auto adjust different light conditions.

system preferences > display > untick "automatically adjust brightness" :d

What's the max amount of RAM an iMac can have to run BootCamp & Parallels Windows 7?
