DVD Burner crapped out - what are my options

can pick new sata drive , move on? need apple? use toast, im sure compatibility wouldnt make difference - dont burn via finder. local shop has em $20, damn cheap. thought throw out here first know options are.

any sata drive should fine long bezel on end of disk tray removable.

CoD on Mac is Stuck in fail windowed mode.
