Magic Trackpad/Keyboard delay after startup?

after booting snow leopard install dvd verify hard drive , switching hard drive quit installer, , i'm having trouble peripherals. on startup, magic trackpad , aluminum wireless keyboard have 15-20 second delay after boot desktop before turning on , working. i've added them favorites in bluetooth preferences, changed batteries, turned on , off, deleting bluetooth , peripheral preference files, reset smc , pram, , deleted/re-paired trackpad computer. it's worth nothing when turn off trackpad , startup using keyboard , old magic mouse, works no delay. do?

What's the max amount of RAM an iMac can have to run BootCamp & Parallels Windows 7?
