iPhone 5 Delayed to get Quad-Core A6 Ready?

i've been thinking while , makes more sense closer end of year. on android side of things, getting close seeing phones/tablets dual core 1.5+ ghz processors, , tablets quad core end of year. first quad core android phones come in 2012, , next nexus phone use dual-core 1.5ghz omap4460.

apple push iphone 3-4 months cosmetic changes? nope. push because could? not. if phone ready june/july release launch, have launched it. period. why wasn't ready in june/july? hardware.

think it. why apple release iphone 5 in sep/oct 1ghz dual-core processor? don't me wrong, know apple doesn't play along whole specs race game, wouldn't outclassed entire year either. apple has r&d money necessary a6 ready fall of year, in time iphone 5 launch.

if iphone 5 released quad-core a6 processor, imagine how far ahead of every smartphone on market. dwarf google's next nexus phone , every phone until late q1/q2 next year. also, a6 going on smaller die a5 gives apple greater possibilities make device thinner.

makes sense next ipad. if apple in fact release ipad 3/ipad pro year, wouldn't because stick retina display on it. because have massive hardware upgrade ready, being next-gen a6 processor. that's logical reason apple release new ipad in game. it's reason why apple release new ipad , iphone simultaneously outside of usual release date time frames. highly doubt apple release new line of ipads because of resolution increase. severely limit regular ipad line , confuse/piss consumers off.

here's interesting article a6 processor: http://blogs.computerworld.com/18629/apples_a6_processor_28_nm_3d_ic_and_made_by_tsmc

guys think? if know more a6 processor feel free post it. knowledge of pretty limited. :apple:

not chance in opinion. apple has never been after cramming in better specs, , doesn't need be. also, i'm sure apple has projected technology roadmap worked out long before each iphone created, have thought this, if have interest in quad-core a6.
