Bootcamp problems

not sure if right place post but..

went create first windows partition bootcamp. had 49gb left on hd before started. process halfway done when seemed have frozen (or me being impatient). force quit bootcamp assistant , tried restarting again. here's problem, don't have enough memory restart process. have 24gb since split them half , half , bootcamp assistant needs 10gb. don't know if mac needs of memory whenever try , restart it, not let me because of insufficient memory. also, computer says have 24gb , still don't have windows partition.

ideas on how bootcamp working or @ least memory back? tried clearing memory didn't help.
