MBP '10 + TV = disaster

i hoped last year when got macbook hook laptop tv no problems whatsoever.
in past, under windows xp, real pain in ass hook computer television.

mac quite easy. have macbook pro '10 i7 hr , minidisplayport hdmi cable apple store. plug 'n play.

once set up, start getting these terrible little problems.
first, watching sd movie cause fans kick off remaining of movie. fans getting loud disturbing. other more annoying problem magic mouse.
can imagine when connect mac tv, sit down on couch , control there.
works me. @ point, magic mouse gets laggy , quite difficult control macbook then. i've noticed has distance between magic mouse , mac. sitting 1.5-2m away macbook when hooking mac tv , @ first works starts getting laggy. tried see if lag remains when using mouse next macbook , indeed lag disappears magically. used magic mouse distance far 7-8m when macbook not connected tv , said before, not experience these problems. apple replaced out of warranty magic mouse didnt help.

experience mac + tv setup? btw, doesnt matter if mac in clamshell mode or not. think heat problem worse in clamshell mode.

edit: sure didnt experience same problems in windows 7 on bootcamp partition do.
