Ghost books - where on my ipod??

i did sync on ipod touch 4g , had bit of clear out make little room. noticed it's saying there around 15 books on there. can't find them anywhere on ipod, nothing comes when search device titles, , there's nothing stored under books. oh, , have no book apps.

deleted titles imac, when did sync, it's copied them on ipod.

driving me crazy!! how find & delete these books when ipod saying they're not there!!??

maybe have saved pdfs ibooks app?
