Macbook 13" Airport Card Replacement HELP

macbook, 2.0gh, running osx 10.4.11

purchased in june of 2006. airport signal low lately , have a/b'd against other macbooks on same networks etc. pretty sure it's not software issue (even upgraded os leopard see if improved , did not. went 10.4 because of front row features.)

anyways, part number airport card need "6613890 airport extreme card."

what's best move here in terms of getting better signal? other airport cards work in 1 (mine has 2 antennae). go usb adapter instead? not afraid mechanical side of install don't know part optimize current machine. yes, aware it's antique!

i don't know of many airport cards 2 antennas. i'm not expert sure, i'm pretty sure majority of them came 3 (the new pros come 4)

if compare signal has same computer (not macbook) might helpful too. wouldn't try upgrade cards, if comes that. new card, same model , install that. i'm not sure even. said try find similar computer, tell expect computer.
