Upgrading Mac Pro processors - Quad to 8 or higher?

hey everyone, plan on buying used 09/10 mac pro whenever refresh comes out later year , wondering if buy base able upgrade 8 or 12 processor later on down road.
i've upgraded processor on old g4, upgrading pro that?
 

no, , no. if want dual cpu system, have replace cpu daughtercard, , potentially backplane, if started single cpu system (base quad hex). that's more expensive buying apple. cpus far more delicate in g4, came on own card replace.
