Lion on old hardware. Upgrade worth it?

i have late 2007 mbp. 2.2ghz, 4gigs of ram, 120 gig harddrive

how update treat me? more optimized sl? it's memory footprint lower? slower, older hardware , no harddrive space, these factors concern me most. opinions?

i have 2008 mbp, , lion has been working fine me, doesn't seem faster (or slower) snow leopard, nor take more or less of memory footprint snow leopard.

safe see similar performance lion did snow leopard.

worth upgrade? major feature laptop users trackpad gestures, since using old mbp models still have button , smaller trackpads, many of these gestures aren't possible. mean, work, harder smaller trackpad.

other features nothing game-changing in opinion. really mission control, if go around , read of threads, people hate mission control. features of launchpad can obtained in snow leopard making application folder stack on dock. auto save , versions nice, since i've used computers long (and have lost many files along way) have become addicted saving, features don't me. new mail seems @ first, after using of month, can apple's version of gmail.

you. think worth because of mission control, , because $30. but, people disagree me.
