Question about iTunes account and new computer

we have imac (which family uses) signed in itunes account. downloads itunes media account. going buy new mac, , music on other computer on computer.

prefer old computer, family uses, not have access account , "start over" using new account create. smoothest way this? media downloaded stay on old computer? authorization? if sign out of account, still authorized under account?

better leave account signed in on old computer, , use same account on newer computer? if family downloads stuff using account on old computer, should download them new computer using new cloud feature (where can re-download music).

i'm throwing out bunch of ideas, seems more complicated should be. basically, i'm buying new mac , know how should handle itunes account, family uses.
 

you can have same itunes account on more 1 computer. have itunes account sharing turned on on 2 mbp's. if buy song 1 one, automatically copies other . . not related icloud . . yet anyways.

5.1 audio out with hdmi? MBP 15inch 2011

i've gone through 2 adapters , endless hours of trying 5.1 audio receiver via hdmi or optical , can't seem work. well, let me correct myself. got work in osx whenever start vlc audio goes 7.1 random configuration comes out of side speaker. can't seem dts or ac3 consistently output vlc receiver. if have use optical don't care want work. got normal audio not dts or ac3 work osx. using bootcamp , windows 7 got vlc output ac3 via optical receiver. never got hdmi sound output in other 2 channel in windows. anyway if can spread light on how accomplish appreciated @ moment using http://www.kanexlive.com/v2 claim pass uncompressed 5.1/7.1 dts , ac3 through. entire thing frustrating. technical support laughable.   bump   Forums Macs Notebooks ...
