re: output sound to my reciever. wireless?

hello,
in past output sound on 3.5mm computer rca jacks in receiver, has far superior sound.

macbook, take couch, don't want long 3.5mm cable attached across room receiver.

there way transmit sound wirelessly, through small usb device or headphone jack receiver?. through fm wireless transmitter, have never found 1 transmits half decent quality.

thoughts appreciated.
not critical, not willing spend hundreds of dollars expensive device.

an airport express or appletv let it.
you'll need airfoil send audio other itunes, , there couple second delay, watching video on laptop, audio out of main speakers not option.

can pick 1 program, or whole system audio, send from.

if want send audio last.fm or pandora, sweetfm or pandoraboy. (you'll still need airfoil audio stereo)
can send audio them, , not worry getting audio popups or whatever else might happen upon on net.
