AT&T Unlimited Data, iOS 5, and texting...

so i'm lucky enough still have unlimited data on at&t (and use on 2gb month usually, not more 5gb).

upcoming ios 5 , it's new handy messaging feature between ios devices, seems if send equivalent of text ios 5 device won't count against text messaging total, tick off little data.

question should i, or, can i, drop down 1500 txt message plan have minimum, since vast majority of people whom text , forth using iphones? think 450 txt's or whatever low 1 more enough few people text aren't using iphones.
lose unlimited data if alter plan? didn't lose when upgraded minimum 1500 plan last year, again getting more money out of me switch, understand why didn't lose ul data.

have experience doing this?

you should drop down lowest text plan available if saves money , still gets need. changing minutes , text should not effect data plan or 'grandfather' status. can check at&t sure.
