Should I buy Macbook now?

i'm going purchasing macbook, need start of school year (august 22nd). many people have told me macbook update soon. i'm @ bit of dilemma, there refurbished 2010 white macbook on apple's online store 850. should bite right on sale price, or hold out in case there update?

if hold on , there no update mid-august, i'll have play 50 bucks same year old macbook, except brand new instead of refurb...

, then, worth cheap pc laptop, wait till macbook refreshes, sell pc , buy macbook?

lot of options running in head. need guidance
