4.3.3 or 4.3.1

hey guys got new iphone 4..
phone on 4.3.1(8g4)

1. thing in brackets --(8g4) mean?
2. want jailbreak phone should update 4.3.3 , jailbreak or jailbreak 4.3.1 cos ive heard 4.3.3 has battery drainage issues cos redsn0w said new version might fix battery drainage issues has realy fixed?
3.my phone factory unlocked baseband gets updates if upgrade 4.3.3?
4.will still able on carrier if baseband gets updated cos phone factory unlocked?

 

3 & 4) if iphone genuinely (officially) factory unlocked, it's unlocked life, baseband update not affect it, why want prevent baseband update?

2) believe it's other way around: 4.3.1 had short battery life, apple fixed 4.3.2 (4.3.3 variant of 4.3.2).
