Mini Displayport - Intermittent Audio output problem (HDMI)

hi,

in imac working fine. have mac connected tv thru hdmi cable. couple of weeks ago audio output started work intermittently (it plays few minutes, cut out couple of seconds, comes back).

else experiencing problem? intermittent problem of hdmi audio out?

i have. use mba main computer @ moment- until receive 27" imac today;) anyway- when using external monitor via mdp hdmi, audio goes out , i'll have disconnect reestablish audio. i've gone through 1 mdp hdmi adapter already- happened more before adapter died. i'm on adapter number 2 , it's giving me problem. first company bought adapter moshi- lasted 4-5 months of continuous use- not abuse. latest 1 i'm using monoprice.com. monoprice great quality @ cheap prices- adapter pretty cheap though. oh well- i' won't need longer :d
