Force audio out the dock connector instead of internal speaker?

connected dock connector on jailbroken ipod touch 4g dock connector splitter. connected 1 end of splitter apple composite av cable , other end has dock connector gps unit bad elf. goal here have navigon gps app display on in-dash monitor. i've accomplished , it's great. ipod touch's screen mirrored on monitor using tvout2 , resupported4 cydia.

here's problem: audio cables apple av cable plugged aux input on of car stereo, when try play music, audio plays on ipod touch's internal speakers , not on car stereo. reason audio isn't being sent out through dock connector , rather having 1/8 inch audio cable connected device, i'm looking perhaps hack solve problem.

there hack or 3rd party app allows manual selection between dock connector , internal speaker audio playback? there alternative or simpler solution haven't considered? want force audio out dock connector instead of play on internal speaker.

or advice appreciated. thanks!

 

audio when you're playing ipod music should come out dock connector if connected, @ least that's how mine worked few years when had setup.
