New iMac Won't Power Up

when first received 2011 mac 2 weeks ago doa. while on phone tech support, turned unit on serial number. after standing able power up. morning, wouldn't power again. time, unplugging , re-plugging power cord allowed start up.
looks trip apple store in order curious if else has had similar issues.
 

i've never had problem either of 27" imacs i've owned. sounds psu related, again, wrong.
