i got rid of 2010 mac mini 2011 21.5" imac , got me thinking mac presents worst value?

while loved mini cool design , holding title of apple's lowest price point, found hardware price combo least justifiable. sandy bridge processors out mm seems ancient. refresh nearing, don't think i5 macbook pro processor convince me again buy one. if mm stays @ $700 people still want/need $70 mouse, $70 keyboard, speakers cost @ least $20, , monitor @ least $200. comes $1060, $140 shy of imac 21.5" entry or macbook pro 13" entry.
