hi, purchased high-end 2011 15" mbp along acd. since last week have noticed couple of issues. issues began last week, when pushed through update parallel 6. noticed when access bootcamp 64 windows, no longer able highest resolution (even when hooked on acd). when looked @ drivers in use, looked recognized intel gpu. week, when unhook mbp acd, computer on, wasn't able laptop monitor turn on though rest of computer still on. had hard reboot monitor on. suspected dynamic gpu, when pinpointed the gfx status program use either intel or ati gpu, got pinwheels , forced hard reboot again. else experiencing this? or know might causing issue? thinking bringing apple store (i have apple care) have them @ it, wanted thoughts issue be. parallel 6 update? or hardware issue?   i'd recommend uninstalling parallels first troubleshoot whether issue lies software or if indeed hardware issue. if u

hi everyone, have iphone 3g running on 4.2.1 jailbroken , unlocked , did *not* have ipad baseband on it, think on 5.xx downloading app in cydia , flipped out , went spinning circle screen time, when plugged computer recognisable, couldn't on screen. power button broken couldn't turn off - ended restoring it, lost settings , no longer jailbroken...and without power button put dfu mode couldn't jailbreak running 4.2.1 restored again see if apps, messages etc time accidentally clicked wrong ipsw file , selected 4.1.1 file , phone unresponsive computer, charging , buttons pressed. have ideas how thing running again without functional power button?   getting running again 1 thing, don't think you'll able jailbreak on current firmware without using power button dfu mode (i think). have shsh blobs 4.0 or 4.0.1? use comex's "star" jailbreak (aka jailbreak

i have late 2008 15 inch macbook pro 320 gb hard drive inside, , 500 gb western digital mybook external usb drive. external partitioned there's 200 gb partition storage, , 300 gb time machine. worked fine i'm running low on space, i'm photography student , have loads of gigantic photoshop files , tens of thousands of high resolution photos, many of raw. say, cannot delete of that, it's more important anything. way things keep on internal drive, , let time machine up, have backup of don't want loose. 200 gb partition on external storing videos , stuff don't care about. thing buy 2 tb external drive, still have move of stuff internal new external, , therefore not have 2 copies of data. don't want 2 externals backing each other either, travel lot , won't fit in suitcase (not mention can't afford that), , macbook pro doesn't have enough usb ports (the 2 ports in use). don't have money can either buy

i've got bit of weird problem, i'm out of things try , fix with. i'm trying reinstall , erase 2007 macbookpro using it's original install disc, every time restart disc install, this: if closely, can see install display behind it. able click on settings, can't read of them , screen problem remains same. far have: repaired & verified permissions repaired & verified disc started in safe mode reset nvram , pram cleaned disc zeroed wiped files , zeroed them deleted windows partition, zeroed i'm absolutely lost might fix this. if have suggestions or ideas, appreciate help!! i'm not sure if matters, did have nvidia graphics card replaced after fried because part of faulty batch.   so, mean had logic board replaced. well, might have gotten bad logic board. take in. , why going through effort wipe , reload begin with?
