just wanted see if else experiencing same problems screensavers in lion. (i'm running 2011 mac mini.) - setting 'start screen saver' 'never' doesn't seem expect do. namely, screensaver still kicks in (i don't know how long, because running when came home work). went control panel , still set 'never'. - computer stops working when move mouse exit screensaver. namely, cursor turns spinning beachball , computer won't anything. (for reason can out of putting computer sleep , waking again, @ point os x goes login screen.) these known bugs lion, or possible i've misconfigured something? hello! have problems insertion files (for example *.rxn, *.mol) , excel tables in word via applescript. in dictionary of msword found paste special command options "data type paste oleobject" puts ole objects clipboard. data not in clipboard, can not anything. copy range in excel use "copy range" command, insert word, ole object, needed excel while copying in foreground, it's not good. maybe encountered such problems? hey all. so, installed bootcamp because had use windows programs work , wanted home. went off without hitch , i'm writing windows 7 speak: used official osx install disk came laptop partition drive, installed windows, , went well. however, apparently i'm supposed have bootcamp utility allows me install drivers, see partitions and, importantly, boot osx. i'm trapped in windows 7 (i know, horror!). try put osx install disk, dvd drive treats blank disk, though recognizes disk put it, , load other dvds automatically , play videos them. don't know do. please me.   when boot up, press , hold alt/option button before chime , should able see 2 disks, 1 labelled macintosh hd , other windows.   Forums Macs Notebooks MacBook Pro...

my battery life double in osx compared windows. both situations have brightness 3 notches off. in osx full 8 hours estimated 11. in windows barely 4 hours. why such difference?   which macbook it? if it's 1 switchable gpu, it'd because apple has made more powerful 1 on in windows. guess thought trouble allow switching in windows well. also, i'm guessing software bootcamp installs manage battery basic generic version, energy management in os x. plus seems make os x better well... shame because reason have windows installed few games aren't os x compatible, , have on life-support power socket whole time. whole point of laptop can moved.   Forums Macs Windows, Linux & Others on the Mac iPhone Mac OS & System S...
