hey all, have come here in last ditch effort of desperation. purchased new 21.5' imac yesterday , have been trying day win7 installed via bootcamp. drive partitioned, can boot in , out of windows. however, unable connect internet. used snow leopard cd while in windows , got "unsupported 64" error message. able go open/drivers/apple/bootcamp64 troubleshoot, , launched way. installed. have done same , manually installed driver allow me (broadcom, intel..etc) since can't find way connect internet either via ethernet or wireless. downloaded both bootcamp 3.1 , 3.2 onto usb drive , installed both on windows side, still no progress. have gone through control panel , tried manually install "intel ethernet drivers" , "broadcom" drivers snow leopard disc. still no luck there, says nothing can found. go here? called apple care , pretty said "we dont windows, luck!" appreciated.

hello, wondering how overclock cpu of mid 2011 imac. have tried every overclocking tool find online in boot camp windows 7, , in 1 way or none of them work. have been able overclock gpu using sapphire trixx program. think stems 2 reasons. 1 of them mac not have legitimate bios, , hardware locked down none of software can identify pll of main board/logic board. know people have done on other recent macs ( http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=667887 ) op of thread not identify software or method used overclock cpu. know bad idea due fact components of 2011 imac tightly , closely placed. using 21.5 inch 2.7 ghz i5 quad core , want 2.8 (preferably 3.0) , overclocking 100 mhz should not set computer on fire or since assume components, cooling components of 2.7 imac extremely similar or congruent in next model up. know can done (see above thread) don't know how. ideas? thanks, jimmy

hey guys, know there have been several threads on type of thing already, haven't found situation. did serial number , came 2 macbook pro models, here's link: http://support.apple.com/kb/sp32 can't go "about mac" because wiped hard drive , lost os cd s can't reinstall (the screen flashes folder question mark"). so, 2 questions, how tell mbp have link above? took out hard drive , it's 100gb, i'm assuming second 1 (model ma601ll) how make sure? need new inverter , want right inverter. also, since lost os cd, there way can replacement apple free (i doubt it, know if can)? tiger, leopard or snow leopard, don't care. preferably snow leopard because that's had on it, need new os regardless, don't care apple gives me (if give me anything) lol.   apple replace restore dvd whatever machine shipped minimal cost (but not free)
