connected dock connector on jailbroken ipod touch 4g dock connector splitter. connected 1 end of splitter apple composite av cable , other end has dock connector gps unit bad elf. goal here have navigon gps app display on in-dash monitor. i've accomplished , it's great. ipod touch's screen mirrored on monitor using tvout2 , resupported4 cydia. here's problem: audio cables apple av cable plugged aux input on of car stereo, when try play music, audio plays on ipod touch's internal speakers , not on car stereo. reason audio isn't being sent out through dock connector , rather having 1/8 inch audio cable connected device, i'm looking perhaps hack solve problem. there hack or 3rd party app allows manual selection between dock connector , internal speaker audio playback? there alternative or simpler solution haven't considered? want force audio out dock connector instead of play on internal speaker. or advice appreciated.

hey, have 15 inch mbp mid 2009. have 8gb of ram owc , ssd owc 256gb. within past week or computer has become slower. can imagine used lightning fast. turn on in 10 seconds , takes maybe 17. also, seems run hotter. when have apps open spinning wheel randomly or when doing things much more , longer period , computer semi freezes while ball spinning. copying documents / pictures / files etc. desktop used take 1/2 second, , takes upwards of 15 seconds. computer freeze , have hold down power button restart. once restarted show apple on boot on grey screen , nothing else. push power button , computer instantly shuts off. turn on , shows grey screen apple, , maybe once or twice flashes circle line through it. have tried holding option on start select mac hd boot won't show up. if let computer sit maybe hour or , try , turn on turn on normal, still in slower state. things have done , tried far: changed computer run processor @ full

so, here situation. have 3 macs. macbook connected hdtv needs phased out, mac mini (2.26 c2d, 4gb ram, 9400m) primary desktop/media server , old macbook pro (2.2 cd2, 4gb ram, 8600m 128mb). here 2 options considering. 1: purchase new mac mini (i7, ssd, 6630m) , have take place of current mini , migrate tv. continue use aging macbook pro on go. give me chance set down , play game or 2 old pc days. 2: purchase new macbook air (13" 128 gb base) replace macbook pro. in scenario still move current mini tv, macbook pro become desktop , take role media server. grant me better "couch" experience. split. when comes down it, need else @ tv. old macbook chugs 1080p video, plus sounds jet engine. budget under $1500 thats why considering high end mini or mid range air.   get base ($599) mini, upgrade ram (less $100 8gb), air. keeps right close budget , should cover needs nicely....

i thought interesting see additional gestures people want. me, there 2 glaring items missing: 1. gesture open finder window (i saw discussion here on this). mission control, launchpad , spotlight, don't need dock anymore except open window find file (i suppose use spotlight this, too, want browse particular folder). not sure gesture (one finger in circle motion?), though... 2. in safari (especially full screen mode), 2 finger swipe move , forth on website. but, i'd ability move between tabs. again, not sure gesture (maybe 4 finger swipe??), though... others?   i've long wanted gesture close windows, maybe drawing "x" on trackpad? gestural tab-switching sounds nice, too.   Forums Macs macOS Older OS X Versions
