i've had few bumps in road going lion. first of all, attempted follow suggestions on @ ars installesd.dmg wouldn't have suffer through full lion download on every computer want upgrade. copied files nas (lacie network space 2) , assumed good. not. somehow dmg got corrupted when downloaded machine in house not run. since lion goes , deletes local copy, had no backup. that's not entirely true. had burned copy of dmg 8 gig sd card. lucky me not corrupted made myself new dmg , copied inside install os x lion.app replacing corrupted one. noticed couldn't log in nas more except guest. turns out apple decided change way remote logins work in lion , broke lot of things. vnc viewers on ipad , iphone no longer work , can't log in nas drive without firmware update. started lacie update last night around midnight. thing is, i'd rather deal firmware updates on schedule, not apple's. lastly crashplan stopped working.

does 1password auto-clear clipboard? that's 1 of features of keepass windows i've used years , using version 2 think great. need mac os , going try keepassx in version 0. far i've played around using keychain access, seems overly complicated want , doesn't seem have features auto-clearing clipboard after set amount of time, nor can configure columns way want to.   automatic clearing clipboard isn't need 1password; comes lots of browser plugins autofill information (in webpages) when want (with master password of course). have user configurable option in preferences > security > clipboard security. can set many seconds want wait before clearing. 1password excellent software , support fantastic, can't recommend enough. nothing else comes close.   Forums Macs

has else experienced this? using 13" mbp (2011) snow leopard, connect 27" cinema display, in clamshell mode, press space button on wired external keyboard , picture show on cinema display within 3 seconds. since installing lion, takes 15 or more seconds show picture on cinema display. worse, doesn't connect bluetooth mighty mouse , way connect use wired mouse , manually ask mbp scan bluetooth devices. finds mouse , connects. can live slow reaction of connecting cinema display clamshell 13" mbp, not recognising bluetooth devices massive pain. don't want have find , connect wire mouse every day!   i have 27" acd connected 2010 15" i5 mbp in "clamshell" mode , no issues lion...the difference have click mouse acd awake instead of moving mouse (i new feature better)...other that, i've had no issues whatsoever lion , acd...

let me preface saying know quite bit linux/apache/php configs, first time i've ever tried setup client login relationship. i've setup open directory master, dns , created network user. given user home folder (first path "/volumes/faststore/users", later afp:// share). on lion client machine bound od server using systempreferences->users&groups->loginoptions, terminal can "ssh {ip address} -l {user name}" , login , nano/create files in home directory, , can "id {user name}" , see correct numbers given od server. however, on client machines login window, "other" trying login user makes spin while , popup message "can't login, error has occurred" missing here? edit: solved! setting dns point server client resolved it.
