i have started getting timelapses , ones try , capture movement of stars (well movement of earth!). however, have had inconsistent results battery life using canon 600d , tokina 11-16mm f2.8. 2 nights in row able take close 1,000 photos on period of 10 hours 30-35secs interval between exposures taken on s2 1920x1080 jpg. last night , night before able take 290 pictures on period of 3 hours 20 mins. weren't particuarly cold nights , used similar techniques taking photo's timelapse wondering issue be? thanks,   do have lcd set turn on after picture made length of time? i've turned off lcd "auto show" on 60d. also, did remember turn off lens stabilization (if has it) last time? uses more power, too.   Forums Special Interests Digital Photogr

hello....sorry huge wall of text actiontec gt724wg dsl modem keeps disconnecting , reconnecting every couple of hours. have 2 mac's 1 wired , 1 wireless , ps3 , wii running on modem also. have 1 house phone has dsl filter hooked , when phone used internet still works fine. once 2009 , 2010 imac's disconnect internet/server 3-4 minutes later fix , work again. called isp , got replacement modem same thing. i've tried change dns dynamic static , didn't cure problem either. i've tried turn upnp on didn't work either. , when ran line test online test got rating. here log of modem. (there lots of apps this). need 1 syncs across multiple ipads. our team sets training seminars , there 500 tasks need accomplished prior , during seminars ensure successful event. each member of team has ipad. need app can "assign" task member , have checked off list when it's completed. maybe syncs in cloud, or log 1 account. suggestions?   not sure if looking for, using wunderlist in similar way. create project(s) each member reporting me in wunderlist, share respective project(s) each member. shared member , see project's tasks. create task inside each of project(s), , each member checks them off when completed. wunderlist free, , each member load on iphone, mac, windows pc , synch across platforms. way check on each project progress checking on task status.

in oct 2010, apple released mba , said future of apple laptops (paraphrased), past mpb update doesn't support statement. i'm in market new mbp, wasn't satisfied past release i'll continue wait. current mbp 4 years old , still runs great i'm not in huge rush plan on treating myself new mbp better battery, higher res screen, , thinner form factor (removal of cd drive?). if ready upgrade last year have, i'm officially in wait mode until mbp design refreshed. think mba beautiful, need power , don't mind added heft it. think mba expensive. love mbp updated during summer, realistic guess refreshed later in fall/winter because apple seems reluctant update mb line. buyer's guide says mbp line mid-cycle, don't think it's normal case since last couple updates simple (though significant) spec bumps. guesses?   i don't think we'll seeing them drop dvd drive yet

well, managed hop on bandwagon. bought myself nice early-2009 macbook (the 1 2.0 ghz core 2 duo processor, 2 gb of ram , nvidia geforce 9400m graphics). cost me $230, since used, , optical drive needed replaced (until can use external firewire dvd drive , remote disc sharing), , due apple discontinuing regular macbook line. got yesterday, , far love it! upgraded ram 3 gb (as have right before can buy compatible 2 gb module), swapped out existing 120 gb hard drive bigger 250 gb drive, installed mac os x 10.6 snow leopard on it, , pretty took away there! far, still use emac main desktop (typing on right now), macbook on go or heavier digital media editing (i.e. photoshop, bigger imovie projects, etc.), plus it'll can use newer programs , stuff on leopard or ppc wouldn't support. i'm going put windows on partition on drive take advantage of boot camp (like did imacs @ college's fine arts building). not sure whether install windows xp or 7
