(idiot, know) withing minutes turned off on own or died? left way overnight , tried turn on in morning nothing happening. while pretty sure battery still had charge in plugged in , did see green light go on , turn orange start charging again not turn on. thinking bad idea unplugged power , poured rice on towel , laid down couple of hours. had pack , head home sat in car 2 hours. when got home took off , still feel moisture. off (but battery & hard drive still

hi - bought first imac few months ago - upgraded i3 1 tb hdd , radeon hd 5670 graphics (mid-2010 model). loving far. until few days ago went sleep mode within approximately 2 seconds (which totally amazed me coming dell pc vista). now, hanging while , takes twelve fifteen seconds enter sleep. i've done 2 things believe might have caused this: 1) (stupidly) fiddled canon i9900 inkjet driver on imac. tried print canon connected laptop windows pc, wirelessly imac. never imac recognize canon printer , gave up. can uninstall canon printer driver on imac , reinstall fresh copy? if so, how? 2) connected canon scanner (lide 50) usb port on imac. nothing seemed happen, no driver installed apparently, abandoned effort , unplugged canon scanner. perhaps after mac began entering sleep mode delay. believe 1 of these actions causing imac hang bit before entering sleep. suggestions appreciated. -dave

so, decided replace 500gb hard drive on 21.5 inch imac (2010 model), , upgrade 2tb. bought hard drive, got guide ifixit.com install myself , went work. popped open, followed directions exactly, , went fine. once replaced hard drive , closed imac, once turned on screen black. started up, made start chime, sounded working fine, screen won't come on. i've gone , made sure 4 wires attach screen connected, , played around multiple times plugging them in , making sure correct. every single time turn on screen won't work! it's frustrating. have idea what's wrong here , how can fix it?   by mistake may have cause short inside , burned cpu. suspect have machine because apple not fixit free. has happen me last year a♠k♠q♠j♠10♠   Forums Macs Desktops

ok, not trying self marketing etc. noticed when importing nikon d7000 nef's aperture applied weird base profile makes them .. pale. nothing when importing through capture nx or view nx. so, took time (several hours) in comparing colors etc. , adjusting settings in aperture match nikon product import closely. wrote testing , how import , use on site (in signature), if want file, zip located here . using preset during import , on older imported raws , makes photos better go already. yes right can anyway in adjustments takes time , results not consistent. checked against 20 random samples in library , when raw files applied preset match capturenx output closer... @ least me. anyway, thought i'd share. i'd appreciate no direct links file, did take time make it. again, make pictures more poppy start can adjust afterwards , might not every image either, if want achieve pale effect. //f ps: wrote in article preset, system color calibrated
