i have i5 mbp13 (2011) installed crucial m4ssd(64gb) drive , moved existing hdd optibay. have 2 drives - macintosh ssd (os & apps) & data hdd (inc user data) home directory defined /volumes/data hdd/users/localadmin (note, there still users folder in ssd don think used) things seems working properly. when launch photobooth message "there no connected camera" (i same when launch facetime) backlit keyboard not work. when press f5 or f6 key 'no entry' sign appears on screen. have since installed app called lab tick allows me turn on backlit keyboard manually. can conclude hardware on keys fine. cannot use f keys control , light sensor automatic brightness of keys not work. not sure whether failing webcam or backlit keys linked. both working fine before me ssd 'upgrade'. appreciate help.   this long shot, have tried covering came

i'll honest, when first installed gm edition of lion, hated it. passion. seemed slow , sluggish compared sl, fans working more usual, , ram usage being alot higher. tried extensively downgrade sl, heck, prepared sacrifice years of files go old snowy. then, after 3 days, thoughts went. lion, , it's new additions, take alot of getting used to. sure, nice having expose , spaces separate apps in sl, if remember efficiency of them, mission control whole lot better. instead of flicking through spaces, gesturing or keying launch expose find you're running, 1 has press single key, , presented, in neat, organised way. resume awesome feature. guess i'm trying in badly structured argument, should give lion chance. grows on you... p.s. i'm running lion on macbook pro mid 2009, 2.26ghz , 2gb ram. intend upgrade 4, possibly 8, lion still feels alot more efficient , quicker sl did.  

hey everyone, having trouble external hard drive , hoping help. have imac 3.06 intel core 2 duo 4gb of ram , running 10.6.8. hard drive lacie 1tb. (its black 1 blue led strip under it) have partitioned 2 parts. 1 being 250gb storage 750 time machine backup. problem decided wanted clean install lion moved needed onto hard drive fine. unplugged , erased imac hard drive reinstalled snow leopard. went perfect computer running fast plug in external start coping stuff on desktop , after while started getting errors saying unable copy because of restrictions tried couple more times figured maybe restart help. restarted computer , external drive not show up. went disk utility , shows on there locks when select 10mins , tried repair said had problem. tried using diskwarrior , 1 of partitions show when select in finder locks disconnects itself. keeps doing randomly. thought maybe enclosure took drive out placed cavalry 2 bay hard drive dock , still did same thing on di

hello guys, can tell first time posting here. on issue phone. woke 1 morning made call, , proceeded place phone down on bed. came @ 20 minutes later, find screen had turned white. after seeing not respond of prodding, forced restarted it. though screen no longer white, black. still received calls/texts/ vibrator worked, , still forcibly restart or shut down. tried restoring/updating. ended making appointment @ genius bar, , while there told water damage, , 2 stickers should have been white red. shocked when heard this, because believed issue had nothing water. should noted have had phone 2 years, , have never had case on it. screen faultless except 1 minor scratch on side. 'genius' proceeded tell me have happened several years ago, , phone suffering effects. while won't rule out, because crazy things happen. chances extremely slim, , never remember getting phone wet enough point effect anything. believe few drops of rain cause of stickers
