my iphone got little wet few weeks ago. when mean little, mean "maybe" few drops got phone through connector , couple of drops on screen. in no way submerged or that. anyway... connected charger (i know... didn't think wet inside). started acting weird if touching screen, wasn't , kept saying device (charger) not compatible iphone. tried 2 charger cables have used before. so.... battery died , phone not power on. bought replacement battery , installed it. powers on, screen not respond. not slide bar unlock phone. connected computer , computer not recognize @ in either itunes or windows explorer. motherboard shot? main concern try , photos , contacts phone. if can that, i'll happy , buy new phone. also... when replacing battery, noticed ribbon connects motherboard think power torn/cut halfway. not sure if that. not ribbons 4,5,6, or 7 ribbon connects under motherboard little box under power button. not have number can tell.

hello, mbp 2010 15", 30 seconds after sound ends while using headphones (either of 2 pairs), hear pop or snap in headphones. happens after playing youtube, or after using mplayer in terminal. haven't used itunes extensively can't whether happens app. not happen under windows 7 @ all, have installed in boot camp partition. did little google searching , seems people occurs because os turns off sound card save power, in ungraceful way. person reported had no problem under windows xp did see problem on multiple mac laptops. 1 person in 2008 said found utility tricks os thinking sound card playing audio, power-off , therefore pop or snap sound no longer occur, utility seems ppc-only binary & anyway hate running unofficial utilities. here know if there way fix problem? suppose write bash script plays all-zeroes wave file every 25 seconds, kludge. thanks.

hi all, purchased new air lion , wasn't long till stumbled upon ol' # key problem. problem when press alt + 3 on lion switches desktop 3 in mission control. or if don't have desktop 3 in mission control, nothing. viewing keyboard viewer though can still see # key mapped alt + 3. trick open mission control , make 4 desktops, if don't want use them i'm sorry you'll need leave them open. go system preferences -> keyboard -> keyboard shortcuts select mission control , untick mission control in right hand side. can leave 'move left/right space' option plus <-/-> arrows, i've taken off completely, might swipe trackpad. switch desktop alt/1234 unticked close system preferences. next time press alt + ¡€#¢ you'll symbols in place. if don't have 4 desktops open in mission control, not see option untick keyboard shortcuts , first 2 work. tried searching couldn't see else sol

greetings everyone, have upgraded lion , me of things working well. there is 1 or 2 things missing snow leopard. first 1 used hold down app icon on dock , used show windows app on snow leopard. on lion there no easy convenient way of showing windows whilst using mouse, shows menu list includes option inside menu more time consuming. second 1 on mozzila firefox on snow leopard if pressed command , left key use take previous page. on lion appears can not use short cut. web developer these little things nice touches in snow leopard use make job quicker , ease. thank time   i didn't know able use cmd-leftarrow go previous page. can use backspace when not in text box, far know. don't know sure have snow leopard. just... try one. backspace. let me know if helps.   Forums Macs

hi there, i've been experiencing annoying problem late 2008 unibody macbook, screen freezes, turns white , pixilates away. have mess stop, wiggle , move around. lately gotten lot worse , wiggling isn't going fix problem. don't know , don't have hardly money. computer means awful lot me , else works great, problem screen getting out of hand. think lcd or perhaps else internal causing it? easy fix myself repair? how think specialist cost? thanks, totally appreciate help!   it's inverter board going out or connection lcd. it's possible fix , not expensive buy parts, don't think it's easy. check out ifixit have guides , can see if it's ok doing yourself. i'm assuming either didn't buy extended warranty or it's expired right?   Forums Macs

hi, im purchase 2008 white macbook following... 2gb, 200-pin sodimm, 256mx64, ddr2 pc2-5300 (crucial) far know absolutely fine, , mactracker tells me need 200-pin, pc2-5300(667 mhz), ddr2 sodimm confusion im having seller doesnt list hmz speed , dont know 256mx64 refers to... have googled found more little confusing honest. appreciated   256m x 64 describes capacity of sodimm in megabits. if convert bytes, multiply 256mb x 8, comes out 2gb ((64bits / 8bits per byte) * 256,000,000 bits). ddr2 pc-5300 runs @ 667mhz. should correct device, though sellers have cross-reference make/model of machine. check crucial's home site - should have reference there. user's guide has description of correct type mac.   Forums Macs Notebooks

i playing tristan pinball yesterday , noticed shake function won’t work on ipad 2 anymore. when i’m trying shake device nudge virtual pinball machine nothing happens. did tests in coin drop! game (it requires lot of shaking too) – again, nothing. in realracing hd accelerometer works absolutely fine. can steer tilting ipad. , ipad recognize landscape , portrait mode. tried reset device problem still there. tips?   it's working ok on mine. take pretty shake; forward , seem effective. wasn't noticeable while ball in motion - trapped flipper, or left ball sitting on e plunger.
